SmartMail FAX Inbound Faxing Services

By far the most popular of our SmartMail FAX offerings, SmartMail FAX is the perfect complement to your retail VOIP service offering. Without any special hardware, inbound service provides your subscriber with their own fax number – either a local number or a toll free number – which accepts faxes and then converts them into the convenient Adobe PDF format and delivers them to the subscriber by email. Subscribers can also port telephone numbers to SmartMail FAX from other carriers so they won’t have to change their fax numbers when they subscribe. A web-based portal is also provided where our wholesale customer can add new numbers/accounts, manage existing numbers/accounts, or disconnect numbers/accounts. A user portal is also available for each user to securely retrieve faxes for those who prefer not to have them emailed, or when the user has email trouble. Once the user receives a fax as an image, it can be stored on disk, printed, forwarded, annotated or just deleted. There’s no limit to the faxes received and no per-page, per-fax or per-minute charges.

SmartMail FAX Outbound Faxing from your E-Mail

This option is primarily used for automated systems that need to fax out regularly. Your system can send an email to SmartMail FAX with a PDF file attached, and we will fax the PDF file contents to the telephone number specified and then return a confirmation to your email. Our web-enabled portal also shows the details of each fax that you send. This option can also be used for mass-faxing. Standard long distance charges apply for non-local faxes. Usage charges are itemized on your monthly invoice per-user for easy cost accounting.

SmartMail FAX Outbound Faxing Services from your Windows Computer

This service is a free add-on option to our inbound fax service. We’ll provide a software program to load on your computer which enables the sending of faxes through SmartMail FAX right from your screen! When you send a fax, we’ll transmit it immediately and email you a confirmation with an image of your fax attached! This allows for quick, easy and complete record-keeping of exactly what faxes you sent, when and to whom. Our web-enabled portal also shows the details of each fax that you send. Database integration is also supported for mass faxing. Standard long distance charges apply for non-local faxes. Usage charges are itemized on your monthly invoice per-user for easy cost accounting.
